If you have a history of cardiac or respiratory problems it is not recommended that you make the ascent to Pikes Peak summit. Health care and medical treatment in the United States of America is expensive. Save yourself thousands of dollars in medical cost and stay home. In addition, by the time a ambulance makes it up to Pikes Peak summit to try and save you, you'll probably be dead. 

It is not recommended that infants under the age of 6 months make the ascent to Pikes Peak summit. The thinner air at the summit makes it difficult for infants to breathe. Do yourself a favor and leave your infant kid at home. It will be beneficial to your kids long-term learning ability. Little brains starved for oxygen make for a lower IQ.
